The right candidates will need a complete understanding of full life-cycle development and be able to communicate well with the business division. Is Telecommuting possible?
Our client does have a telecommuting policy, but details would need to be worked out with the manager. As with all telecommuting situations, it becomes much easier once there is s level of trust between a successful candidate and the client’s management.

Why is there a need to fill these roles?
Our client is in the middle of an ERP implementation and there are increasing business requests related to Progress applications that tie into the ERP.
Start date of the contract: ASAP
Scope: We are considering consultants, contract to hire candidates as well as candidates who are considering only direct full time employment
The person in this role will be involved with both the technology and business sides of projects and enhancements. He or she will develop the software using the Progress language, unit test the design, then define and communicate these projects to the business personnel. The candidate will also be responsible for writing software specifications, troubleshooting, and supporting the legacy systems.
Required Skills / Experience:
- Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in computer science
