Position Title:     Technical Writer


Work Location: Ridley Park, PA Area


Work environment (private office?, cube?, high rise office building?): Private Office and Warehouse


Who does this position report to? Sr. Mechanical Engineer


Why is this position open? Company just signed a contract with a major client and needs additional resources to fill and complete projects.


Size of department:  20 people


Projects involved with: Complete documentation for subsystems.


Responsibilities: Completing documentation required for a number of subsystems. (User Manuel, System requirement documents, manufacturing documents, and progress reports.


Required Skills:

  • Working history writing technical documentation
  • Strong writing and verbal skills
  • Strong technical background


Education/Training: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent background


Selling point of the job: This is a unique company with very unique products, one will never be bored with the day to day design and operations.


Work Hours and Schedule: Normal Business Hours


Is there travel involved?  If so how much?  No Travel


Dress code:  Business Casual


Base Salary: Open
