Aavalar’s client is looking for a UI developer to fill a contract position in the Center City Philadelphia area immediately. You will be designing, implementing and improving user interfaces for their multi-tier web environment. Here are the specifics of the job:

Job Title: UI/UX Developer

Work Location: Greater Philadelphia Area

Is Telecommuting possible? Probably not

Work environment: High rise office building. Smart bunch of folks who are great to work with.

Reporting to: Manager of IT

Contract length: 6 months with possible extension

• Front-end programming for multi-tier web environment
• Modernizing existing UI’s
• Help design front-end look and feel

Required Skills / Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
• 6+ years of experience in software development
• 3+ years of experience with enterprise software and large distributed applications
• 3+ years developing digital platforms (JQuery, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, AJAX)
• 3+ years of front-end frameworks (Angular, Bootstrap, etc.)
• Responsive design/mobile design
• Experience prototyping wireframe interactions quickly
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills

Desired Skills:
• Experience with Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Flash
• Java, XML, AJAX, HTTP, REST/SOAP a plus

Dress Code: Business Casual (casual Friday’s)

Target Pay Rate: Open
